False Words in Some Bibles

False Words

Isaiah 28:13, “The word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, line upon line, here a little, and there a little,” precept, meaning commandment. Line means, the measuring line of a plummet, or a straight line. As true as a cornerstone stands perpendicular and exactly proportioned, so also God, who while holding out grace to believers will also hand out judgment to the scoffers according to the exact justice of the law.

Isaiah 28:17, “Judgment also will I lay to the line and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail = (to pour down as hail) shall sweep away the refuge of lies.” Revelation 16:21, “And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven.”

Judgments will be put upon those who add or subtract from God’s word.

Revelation 22:18-19, “If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.”

Who has God appointed to care for His written word?

Romans 3:1-2, “What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision? Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them = (the Jew) were committed the oracles of God.” The word “oracles” means: words spoken, utterances.

The Jews were commanded by God to protect His Holy word. The Masoretic text is the only text that remains. This text only can be proven beyond a doubt, to have been preserved by the Jews. Again this agrees with Scripture that the Jews are to maintained and preserved His holy word.

Thousands of hours of coping and proof-reading were done to assure that all copies were exact to the smallest dot. If mistakes were found, the entire text would be destroyed. The Jews believed the Scriptures to be God’s word, and treated them as such. The Masoretic text of the King James Version, lines up perfectly with the Dead Sea Scrolls, these being the oldest known manuscripts.

The Masorites were a sect of Jews. There text is used in the preparation of the English translation of the King James Version = (K.J.V.) of the Old Testament. “Unto them = (the Jews) were committed the oracles of God.”

John 5:39, Jesus said, “Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life; and they are they which testify of me.” Because the N.T. had not yet been written, when Jesus spoke these words, His reference was to the O.T.

Revelation 3:18, Jesus said, “I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich.” God’s word, is compared to pure gold, proven and tried by God.

Revelation 1:20, Jesus said, “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup = (dine) with him, and he with me.”

Jesus is that door, He bids us to knock, that it may be opened unto us. The Holy Spirit thus enters and then seal’s, guides, teaches, and comforts us, through the written word.

1 Thessalonians 2:18, speaks of Satan hindering Paul, as he will also hinder us. The word hindered means, to cut in, to impede, to delay, render fruitless.

1 Peter 5:8, We are told to “Be sober, be vigilant.”

 A. The idea of the word sober is to be, watchful, circumspect.

 B. To be vigilant is to watch, be attentive, careful.

2 Cor.4:4, “In whom the god of this world (Satan) hath blinded the minds of them which believe not.” “Blinded,” refers to Spiritual blindness.

What if I handed you a Bible that had some texts removed, would you accept it? If not, why not?

Many verses have been changed or left out entirely from today’s many new edition Bibles, such as the N.I.V., N.A.S.V., and N.W.T, C.E.V., T.N.I.V, the Jerusalem Bible, the Living Bible, and many others. These inaccurate translations, are not founded on the accurate legitimate text, which may result in severely diluted and/or confusing doctrines concerning who Jesus is, His offices, also what and who He represents. Examples follow concerning the differences in the many Bibles published today.

K.J.V. 1 John 5:7, “For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.” This verse has been removed from N.I.V, etc. Why would such and important verse be omitted from Scripture. If there were any doubt or question as to its authenticity I would keep it in the text.

K.J.V., Colossians 1:14, Is speaking of Jesus, “In whom we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins.” This is also removed from N.I.V, etc. What an extremely important verse this is. It qualifies the Lords finished work.

K.J.V., Acts 8:37, Philip came to a eunuch, who had great authority. He was reading the book Of Isaiah, but could not understand it. Philip explained to him what was written. In verse 36, they see water, and the eunuch asked,

“See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized? in verse 37, of the K.J.V. we are given the answer to the Eunuch’s question. “Philip said, if thou believe with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he (the eunuch) answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.”

In the N.I.V. etc. verse 37 is not to be found. Why is this important? Philip’s answer, and the Eunuch’s response complete the thoughts and the heart of both men, this concerning right doctrine.

K.J.V., Matthew 18:11, Jesus said, “For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost.” The precept and line for this verse is,

Luke 9:56, K.J.V., “For the Son of man is not come to destroy men’s lives, but to save them.” K.J.V.,

Acts 3:17, “but that the world through Him might be saved.”

In the N.I.V., these three very important verses are not in the text. These three verses represent major doctrinal statements that need to be recorded in Scripture. The N.I.V. version runs parallel in many ways to the Jehovah Witness Bible, or New World Translation. The Witnesses do not record the above verses in their version of the Bible. Personally I don’t like the company the N.I.V. keeps.

Some Bibles leaves out an O.T. prophesy from Isaiah .53:12, this verse quoted in,

Mark 15:28. “And the scripture was fulfilled, which saith, And he = (Jesus) was numbered with the transgressors.” In the N.I.V., etc. this verse is not found.

Another verse in Isaiah is left out. Isaiah 66:24, is quoted twice in Mark 9:44 and 46. Jesus said, “Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.”

Isaiah 66:24, “for the worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched.” These verses warn us of the consequences of sin, why would they not be included.

John 5:3, In a place called Bethesda, in Jerusalem, the sick, blind, and lame were waiting by a pool of water for it to be stirred.

Some popular Bibles leave verse four out, “For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled (stirred up) the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had.” Verse 5, goes on to tell about a man who had no one to help him, Jesus intervenes, healing the man. Why would anyone not want to read about this wonderful miracle of God. He sends His angels, what a beautiful and loving God we have.

Matthew 17, the disciples could not cure a lunatic that had been demon possesses. They came to Jesus asking Him about their failure to expell this demon. Jesus explains the reason. Some Bibles leave out Jesus response concerning these demons. Verse 21, “this kind = (demon) goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.” If this information had not been revealed to His disciples, they may have continued in vain, and eventually become discouraged at their failed efforts to remove this type of demon from men. What an important doctrine this is.

The Only Begotten Son

Jesus alone is the “Only Begotten Son” of God. The Father has many sons. Satan, his followers and sometimes men are referred to as, sons of God, but, only Jesus is referred to as the “Only Begotten Son.” I have repeated this, because it is extremely important that we all understand it.

The Greek word for Begotten is, “momogenes.” In the writings of John, when he refers to Jesus as the “Only Begotten,” it is only in the highest sense, meaning that Jesus, and Jesus alone came from the Father, and He alone knows and can reveal to us, the essence and will of the Father. Jesus as the Christ, who is the viceregent = (one who rules) of the Father, is figuratively called His Only Begotten Son. There is no other that is “Begotten” of the Father. This gives our Lord a very special position, title, and office.

K.J.V. John 1:14, “And the Word = (Jesus) was made flesh = (became flesh,) and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” Compare with N.I.V.

N.I.V., etc. John 1:14, “We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only.” Question, One and only what? Jehovah witness Bible, “we had a view of his glory, a glory such as belongs to an only-begotten son.” Note son in lower case, more inconsistency. Answer bible reads “the only Son of the Father.”

K.J.V. John 1:18, “No man hath seen God = (the Father) at any time; the only begotten Son, = (Jesus) which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.” Compare with N.I.V.
N.I.V., etc.

John 1:18, “No one has ever seen God, but God the One and Only, who is at the Fathers side, has made him known.” Jehovah witness Bible, “No man has seen God at any time; the only-begotten god (meaning Jesus, note lower case) who is in the bosom with the Father is the one that has explained him.” The Answer Bible, “No one has ever seen God. But God the only Son is very close to the Father, and he has shown us what God is like.”

K.J.V. John 3:16, Jesus said, “For God = (the Father) so loved the world, that he gave his only Begotten Son = (Jesus).”

N.I.V. John 3:16, Jesus said, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son. Now the N.I.V. puts one in the lower case, making Jesus as one of many, or one of many. “Bull.” Even the Jehovah witness Bible has only-begotten Son.” The Answer Bible reads, “only Son.”

Notice, in the N.I.V., the lower case is used when Jesus spoke of Himself. When “one and only” is used in the lower case, it can be implied that “my Father sent me, His one and single Son.”

This is like saying; go “up the upstairs.” Compare this to the one who the Father has designated to represent Himself fully, as in, “only Begotten.”

This idea of Jesus being the only Begotten refers to a title, an office that has a work application attached to it. The work attached is to reveal the Father and His will, and only Jesus is sealed, and sent to complete this work, and His title is, the Only Begotten Son, not one and only, or the one.

K.J.V. 1 John 4:9, “God = (the Father) sent his only begotten Son = (Jesus) into the world, that we might live through Him.”

N.I.V. 1 John 4:9, “This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son,” again, one and only are in lower case, more inconsistency. Answer Bible, “one and only Son.” Jehovah witness Bible, “only-begotten Son.” Notice Jehovah witnesses sometimes use upper case, sometimes lower case for Son, One, Only. Here we see inconsistency.

Why has this very important title and office of Jesus Christ been left out of so many editions? Why? Because the manuscripts that the writers and editors of modern day Bibles used, I believe, are corrupted versions. In addition, the authors are unknown, and the places where the manuscripts originated are in question.

Their use of these watered downed versions removes important information concerning the power, glory, titles, and offices of our Lord. This process of dilution and erosion concerning Jesus Christ continues to worsen. One day in the near future, it will be impossible to obtain correct Biblical doctrine from these junk Bibles, watered down, misinforming versions.

For centuries a few fourth century manuscripts remained unused, and therefore unnoticed. Satan’s time in running short. So he gets his workers of iniquity, first finds then reveals these new manuscripts which are not in full agreement with those being used. They having been, “supposedly” hidden, are translated, published, read, cause disagreement, cause arguments, confusion, division, and eventually separation, this destroying the unity of the Christ’s body.

Question; Are there any cults or sects that leave out or distort the very same verses concerning Jesus Christ, in order to focus on some false god, or to show another way to the Father?

The New World Translation = (N.W.T) of the Jehovah Witnesses, is a good example of some of the allies of these corrupted Bibles. They teach that Jesus is a created being, and no different then all other sons of God. He then would be considered a brother, and equal to Satan. Satan and man are at times referred to as “a gods.”

Example, Job 1, we read,

K.J.V. “Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.” Satan is here referred to as a son of God.

1 John 3:1-2 John writes, “we = (in the church) should be called the sons of God.” And, “Now are we = (the church) the sons of God.” Notice the lower case. So men and Satan are referred to as sons of God. Now these corrupted versions not only remove Jesus’ title as Only Begotten, but put Him on the same word description level as men and Satan.

We read in Jehovah Witness N.W.T. John 1:14, “We had a view of His = (Jesus) glory, a glory such as belongs to an only-begotten son from a father.”

Note, son and father are in lower case. They do not refer to Jesus as coming from the Father in heaven, but is like a son who had a human father. They teach that Jesus is like any other earthly son, who has an earthly father. In this verse, the father that they are referring to, is not the Father in heaven.

N.W.T. John 1:18, “No man has seen God = (the Father)at any time; the only-begotten god = (they are referring to Jesus) who is in the bosom with the Father is the one = (Jesus) that has explained him = (the Father). ”

Jesus is referred to as a god, and not the God. Again, they equate Jesus with Satan and men. Compare what is said about Satan.

2 Corinthians 4:4, “In whom the god = (Satan) of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not.”

John 1:1, the Witnesses refer to Jesus as “a god,” and not “the God.” When the indefinite article “a” is used, it refers to one of many.

The definite articles “this, that, and the,” refer to the one and only. Example: Give me one apple, or any apple from that basket of many apples. Here is how the indefinite article is used, one of many.

John 3:16. This verse gives us a good look into the hypocrisy that pervades their corrupted church’s. They called Jesus a son, and a god, yet in the well known verse of John 3:16, they write, “For God loved the world so much that he gave his only-begotten Son.”

Here they do acknowledge Jesus as the only begotten, and the only Son, not just a son, but the only-begotten Son. Inconsistency and lies, can always be revealed by truth, and from their own Bible, we find error and corruption.

The reason the Jehovah Witnesses teach this, is because they teach that Jesus Christ, Himself, has been created, and is inferior to the father, making Him a creature like Satan and man. Therefore, they feel justified in calling him “a god” and “a son.”

To call Jesus anything but who and what He is, is blasphemy. The Bible has become the Love Canal, a dumping ground for every cult, every first year college student of either Greek or Hebrew who give the impression the translator’s of the K.J.V. were not qualified for the task given them. Every worker of iniquity, antichrist and anyone else who challenges God’s word is playing around with a snake that is ready to strike. Men are not to change or challenge God’s Holy Word.

I agree that the Holy Spirit is our ultimate teacher. But people have tingling ears: preachers sound like brass bands, selling themselves, and their wares. Most of the new edition Bibles no longer represent God’s Word, but are commentaries, opinions, twisted and not reverent communication. Evil will eventually corrupt good men, more so than good men will change evil men. Beware, lest you are led away by men in sheep’s clothing. Under these garments of wool, however, they are as hungry wolves, waiting to devour the flock.

Yes, Jesus is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. Therefore, His word never changes!
