Conscience and Attitudes

In this era of ever expanding science, and technology, it appears that most of our lives are no longer directed by the conscience. It seems that conscience has chosen to accommodate itself to our private life-styles, and personal opinions.

What also is obvious is, Christian’s no longer have the strength, nor the will to take their eyes from the promises the world makes concerning a better life. These things will all soon pass away. Have we forgotten about that judgment day? Have you forgotten about eternity? God will not be mocked, for every man will be judged either righteous, or unrighteous: in Christ, or without Christ. We are all free to choose; so choose well; this is man’s second chance, don’t blow it.

What is obvious is many have taken their eyes from God? The evil that has crept into every corner of our lives, and in our society in the past 60 years or so, has so impregnated us, and so overwhelmed us; body, soul, and spirit, we no longer seem to have the strength, or will to distinguish good from evil. We have become lukewarm in our belief, faith, and works. We now fall for every false wind of doctrine.

Psalms 59:3, Lo, they lie in wait for our souls.”

For most of those who do recognize it, they would rather deny it, than admit to it.

Proverbs 5:20, “Why will you, my son be enraptured with a strange woman, and embrace the bosom of strangers?”

Many seem to be squirming uneasily from where they sit. They seem to have turned the corner when it comes to choosing leaders who would direct them away from God. Are we not to be more vigilant when faced with these evils? Should we not war against every aspect of it?

If you say yes, then why do we retreat when it presents itself? Is it because we now embrace its love, more than the proven love of God? Has evil proven to the Christian community that it is a greater truth, than He who claimed to be the truth?

Isaiah 14:9, “Hell from beneath is excited about us, (it preparing to) meet us at our coming.” Hell has, “Raised up from its thrones all the kings of the nations,” and we have become as a weak pray to them, and will soon be devoured by them.” posted on web, and forum.
