World War II and Israel

World War II and Israel: Edited 4/15/20.

World War I concluded in 1917, and less than 20 years later, World War II broke out. World War I gave birth to Hitler’s hatred. From the depression came Roosevelt, Churchill, Mussolini, Stalin, Himler, the Nazi party, Yamamoto, the Japanese Imperial fleet, Pearl Harbor where 2300 Americans died, this attack drew America into the war.  The SS was born; and what followed them were the death camps where 6 million Jews were killed, and millions more shot, or gassed. Over 50 million died as a direct result of the war. Places such as Normandy; Stalingrad, the Philippines all influenced by the actions of one man, Adolf Hitler. This is a list likened to no other, and a tragedy unparalleled by any other, (so far.)

Because of the war Russia grew in power, America became a military force to be reckoned with, the United Nations came into being. Chairman Mao gained power in China, giving birth to Communist China. The Atomic age was introduced, German rocketry took man to the moon; and from this came a delivery system for the Atomic bomb.  Europe has been restored to power, and many nations now fight under one flag. They share their economies, and have one currency.

The whole of the Middle East was changed since the war. In Europe, the belief in God has gone from 98% just before the war, to 3% today. As the Muslim nations have grown, so has their religion. The seeds have been planted, and are springing to life.

The events that took place in 1934, from the time Hitler took power, to the end of the war closed when on the battleship Missouri, General MacArthur and America’s allies signed an instrument of capitulation with the Japanese. The war was over, or was it only the beginning?

The Portuguese Jews of 18th and 19th centuries always believed God’s promise to restore the Jews back to the holy land. Also, at that time, many Christian writers still believed in this literal restoration of the Jews’ to the Promised Land, and of the re-establishment of their temple worship.

The probabilities seemed slim at best, for the Jews were an oppressed race of people, and scattered among many countries throughout the world.

But God made a promise to them, here are a few;

Deuteronomy 30:4-5, “If any of thine (the Jews) be driven out … from thence will the LORD thy God gather thee, and from thence will He fetch thee: And the LORD thy God will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed (Israel), and thou shalt possess it; and He will do thee good, and multiply thee above thy fathers.”

Ezekiel 37:21-28,  “Thus saith the LORD God; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen (nations) whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land: I will make them one nation — they all shall have one shepherd = (Jesus) they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes,—–I (God) will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant — And the nations shall know that I the LORD do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore.”

The Jews as a nation have not received Jesus as their Messiah, therefore God has not yet made peace with them, but He will in due course.

Isaiah 11:10-16, God, “Shall set His hand again the second time to recover the remnant of His people, which shall be left, —- and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.”

This verse cannot be applied to the Christian church.

After World War 1, I believe about 1917, and because of the war, the Biltmore resolution was written up, but never implemented.

The implantation of the Biltmore resolution in 1942 jump-started the return of the Jews to their land.  After the war, Jews’ began a return to the land from every corner of the world. In 1948, in one day, they became a sovereign nation.

Since then a more powerful enemy then Nazi Germany is raising its ugly head. A hatred for the Jews equaling that of Hitler himself! The Arab nations are now preparing themselves for the final conflict against Israel, and Jesus Christ. I feel that one man will soon emerge from among the people, and a temporary, but false peace will be implemented.

From the World war one, came the weapons that can now destroy the world. Never before in world history have such weapons existed, and never before could they be fired upon their enemies so rapidly, and never before could millions of soldiers be moved so quickly, and never before has Israel been so isolated.

An evil darkness appears to be descending upon Israel, Christians being their only friends.

Israel is still a nation forsaken by God, but He has a very specific plan for them. He is gathering all 12 tribes together for the second and last time. After He has gathered them, He will deal with their sins.

The Romans destroyed their land, there temple, killed over a million Jews, and took into captivity one hundred thousand. Only a small remnant remained behind. The rest were dispersed to the four corners of the earth.

But since 1948, God has been gathering them together. When it’s all over, they will again call on the name of Jesus Christ, and He shall again be their God.

A reader asked, “Was it an act of God or the zealousness of the flesh to return there? Flesh trying to fulfill prophecy.”

Phil replied, “It was a fulfillment of a promise made by God, not men.”

Deuteronomy 29:25-26-27-28, “Because they = (the Jews)  have forsaken the covenant of the LORD God of their fathers. — For they = (the Jew) served other gods, and worshipped them, gods whom they knew not, — And the anger of the LORD was kindled against this land, = (Israel) to bring upon it all the curses that are written in this book. And the LORD rooted = (uprooted) them = (the Jew) out of their land in anger, and in wrath, and in great indignation, and cast them into another land, as it is this day.”

Deuteronomy 30:1-3, 5-7, The LORD said, “All these thing are come upon thee, = (the Jew) the BLESSINGS and the CURSE, which I have set before thee,” — God said, there is coming a day when the Jew will, “return unto the LORD thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy soul.”

Curses and blessings from the same God!
