Unequally Yoked In Government

We have reached a critical mass in these last days. Christians must wake up to save tomorrow.

2 Corinthians 6:14, “Be ye unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness, with unrighteousness (lawlessness?) and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? And what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? For (we) are the temple of the living God.”

An infidel is an unbeliever. A person who withholds from God. Incredulous, distrustful, faithless, perverse men and women who have not believed in Christ, blinded in the mind, heathen, pagan, those who do not believe in, nor do they worship Jesus Christ.

Verse 17, “Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.”

In every aspect of a Christian’s life, we are not to acknowledge or unite with any unclean thing in our married life, our friends, politics, the places we go, and the things we do. The message is clear. Let me point to one of the above in particular: it’s politics.

To be unequally yoked means to be united with anyone who does not follow the teaching of the Holy Spirit. Christians are heterogeneous with unbelievers, meaning we are of a different kind, having another Spirit.

Americans are positioned uniquely because of our Creator’s wonderful blessing. God has gifted us with his love, spiritual gifts, and understanding. All one has to do is reach out to the Lord and receive it. Our ancestors left us a Constitution, a Bill of Rights, and other documents that qualify and guarantee our freedoms, voting being one of them.

All Americans can freely choose those they desire to lead us. Although true Christian thinking may be in the minority today, when anyone running for office disagrees with Christian thought, we have the opportunity and the right to reject them. We can then vote for someone representing the Christian community and its teachings. In this, I believe the Lord will bless us.

Today, more than ever before, the voice of the Christians is being drowned out by the ever-growing cults. Mormonism is one example; it stands against the word of God. They have defiled the word of God; therefore, a foreign spirit that worships another god?”

2 Corinthians 6:15 refers to the word Belial. Belial means wickedness, to identify with, or is descriptive of Satan. Can we apply this Belialism to the Mormon church?

James Talmage, a Mormon authority, stated in the Mormon Articles of Faith, “Among the spirit children of Elohim the firstborn is Jehovah (meaning Jesus Christ) to whom all others (humans) are juniors,” this means Lucifer, all angels, and all men, good or bad are the sons of God.

The Mormon organization implies that Jesus Christ is a common god of minor importance in the larger scale of Mormon thinking. They teach that this earth is only one of an infinite number of worlds, each having its gods who have existed and evolved for ages, much longer than Jesus Christ’s existence. They also teach that Jesus is the firstborn, or elder, only by his position and achievement, not by His nature or essence.

When Mormons refer to “God the Father,” they are speaking and teaching of a resurrected man who became a God, who is married to many women, and who begat (fathered) the spirit of every person who lived or now lives on this earth through physical relations with His many wives. For this reason, they believe in multiple wives.

By the phrase “His Son, Jesus Christ,” Mormons refer to Jesus as the firstborn of those spirit children, and that he is a spirit brother to Lucifer. They teach that Jesus was born physically in Bethlehem as a result of sexual relations between Heavenly Father and His daughter, Mary.

Also, the politicians in America are polluting the spiritual atmosphere of this nation and its people. They are and will bring the wrath of God down on this nation. God said, “My people are lost from a lack of knowledge.” Christians are not to be yoked with the spirits of Belial. God keeps records. In Revelation 20:12, “The books were opened,” and every man will be rewarded or punished for their actions in the flesh.

Jesus Christ is our Savior, heaven is where his throne is, and one day, the earth will be His footstool. He will bless those who trust him, have faith in him, and believe that He is.

Christians are said to be the light of this world. We are to be God’s ambassadors. So, let all do what is right in the eyes of God. Let God’s blessing flow again in America. We must work now while the light is with us. Soon, the spirit of darkness will come over the earth, a time when no man can work, the work of God.
