Demons, Demonic Possession

God has allowed demons to mimic the evil characteristics in fallen man. As an undetected virus seeks out a host, then infiltrates the host by concealing its true nature, it becomes one with its host. In time, it reproduces itself, spreads until the whole body becomes ill, and dies.

Without Christ, we have no power over demons.

The doctrine of demoniac possession is consistent with the whole tenor of Scripture. Evil is represented as having been introduced to the human race by Satan. He has influenced the immaterial principles in man. The continued evil of the people of this world has been imputed to these fallen angels.

Evil takes on many forms, has varying degrees of violence, and are not produced or inspired by any other means then by Satan and his fallen angels. Why?

Because mans’ premeditated evils against each other, causing death, injury, and violence, multiplied thousands of times each day around the world, come from one source. Scripture calls Satan, the accuser of the brethren, a murderer, the father of lies.

Those who walk according to the ways of this world, are walking according to the ways of the prince of this world = (Satan.) The conversation of the fallen focuses on them and their fleshly lusts. Evil works overtime to fill itself with the things it loves, consuming mans’ thoughts continually. The things we watch and hear mold us. We mimic the authors of filth. Worldly leaders pull the strings and the people dance to their music. This is Satan’s world, a world without Christ.

Satan and fallen angels can be compared to a swarm of locust. One locust will do little damage. But, when locusts swarm together, whole landscapes can be wiped out. We watch individuals destroy themselves, as do whole nations. Demons may work individually, or in groups, but all serve one master. These devils work in those who are not protected by the saving grace of God.

When we deny God, individuals have opened themselves up in both mind and flesh to possession. Without the full armor of God = (knowledge of God,) fallen angels can enter and reproduce their vile characteristics in us. An infected man or woman is only a person in a very limited sense. Their spirit and soul have been infected, and soon after, the physical body will fall. So in this sense, they are a walking corpse.

The propagation of the character and deeds of these demons requires a human environment. They will attack the flesh through the senses, emotions and thinking. Demons desire the whole body, soul, and spirit of a person. Possession can come upon a person in many ways. They may come in by the things we do, the music we hear, what the eye desires to look at, our friends, attitude, selfishness, hatreds, covetousness, and caring for the body more than the soul.

Mankind over the centuries has painted, molded, and carved various forms and Images, depicting the personalities of fallen angels. Fallen angels are honored and glorified through these forms. Mythological creatures, suited for human desires and lusts, authored and approved by Satan.

Man was formed in the image and likeness of God, but those without Christ resemble an abnormality, a mutation. Infected men can be reshaped both internally and externally to mirror the creatures that possess him. The whole nature of a person is changed.

Hitler had great ambitions. He was a man filled with pride; lusting after power, and desired revenge, for the humiliating defeat of his country in World War 1. He filled himself with an unnatural hatred and violence for the Jews, Polish, Russians, Blacks, religious groups, and any one he considered an enemy of the Father-land. These qualities drove him, and by occult practices he was moved by demons toward world conquest. His desire was to be like God.

As he grew in power, he left his mark upon the nations which were murder, rape, slavery, and destruction. He ravaged the land, enslaved and exterminated the people. His self interests and pride were the engines that drove him. Many attempts on his life were made, but the demons of his world protected him, for they had not finished with him.

In the end Hitler was unrepentant for the atrocities he and his followers committed. In the end his body was so riddled with illness, drugs were needed to keep him alive. He committed suicide by his own hand, taking poison first, then shooting himself. He had ordered his close associates to burn his body upon his death. He was unrecognizable, a charred corpse.

His kingdom was to be for 1000 years, it lasted only 12. The demons that possessed Adolph Hitler were now finish with him. Only a piece of his skull and a few bone fragments lie in vaults, deep in the Russian archives. Satan was glorified in Hitler’s victories. 50 to 60 million people died in his wake. His hatred for Jews and Christians lives on today.

Sixty years later, the faces have changed, but the message is the same. This is the world of Satan, murder self destruction, and atrocities beyond description. Satan knows his time is short, and like a pack of hungry rabid dogs seek to devour.

The Greek word for demon means to fall suddenly, to rush, to overwhelm, to obscure, to blacken; therefore it is a misfortune, black, blackness, evil, a monster.

Demons from the beginning have been worshiped by men. The ungodly teach that demons have an influence over the minds of men, and therefore are mediators between God and those who pay honor to them. In the N.T. demons are pictured as spiritual beings which vex and torment men.

Those in the world of the Occult, the unknown, the undetected, teach and practice various forms of communication with the underworld. Dabbling around in the demon world is like walking into a cage of poisonous snakes.

Demons can speak, give visions, or bring into action the things concerning their own hearts. It is the natural senses of men that demons attack. The doors they target are our sense of feeling, hearing, seeing, touching, tasting, and emotions. From that door, they march through the door of men’s souls.

God’s Kingdom is reached by the faith we have in His promises. It is spiritual in nature, permanent, and concludes with great joy and happiness in the arms of Jesus Christ. Satan’s kingdom is here and now, physical, material, temporal, without pity, and terminating in horror, and disgrace.

Peering into a crystal balls, reading tarot cards, tea leaves, bones, palms, contacting the dead through hypnosis, trances, crystals, or the use of many ancient symbols such as pyramids, or any other abstract form or shapes, are used to communicate with the dead, or peer into future events. These are all evil in the eyes of the Lord.

This is the world of the occult, whose king is so evil, so corrupt, that his fate has already been sealed by the one who created him. Occultist claim to have been born with, or have been given supernatural powers by the demons they worship. Workers of iniquity directing the affairs of their king, who marches them on the wide road of destruction.

We are all born into sin, taking our first breath in a world ruled by Satan. Until we make a commitment to believe, trust, and follow the doctrines which have been sealed in heaven, God’s saving grace will have no effect upon us. There is no other way to the Father, except through His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ.

This life is but a stepping stone to eternity. Is our life today going to determine our future? From here we make decisions that will bring us to the gates of heaven, or the gates of hell.
