Echos

Echos:

There is an indescribable newness found in the meek and humble; a new awareness in spirit that persuades them. The heavenly trumpets blow as the angels of heaven sing the songs of praise to the Almighty. Nature groans as it waits patiently for that great day; each morning and evening becoming our yesterdays as we ever move forward into a new season. The living God cuts a deep mark in our souls; His written Word truly being the sum of His wisdom and revelation; its grandeur without comparison.

Must we listen to the echo of human history; read every poet’s line of rhyme, verse and song to unveil the secrets of eternal life, or will God’s word reveal all that is necessary for our peace and security?  The word is simple and easy to under-stand as it overflows with love and compassion, always divulging to us, our fallen nature, and the deliverance from it.

The word has been under great assault over the centuries, yet it remains unconquerable.  The devil and his minions throughout man’s historical report have failed in their vain attempts to destroy it.

God moves through history with us, as the people of all nations either respond to, or reject His Holy Spirit. His voice has been heard in the great mountains of the world; across the vast Oceans; the island nations; in the thickest of jungles, and in every hamlet, town, and great city. It’s a message that frees us from the chains of bondage; it’s as sweet as honey to our lips, and gives a magnificent sound to our ear.

Jesus Christ is the equable God. He came out of His place in heaven; He came with love and mercy, yet a great evil fell upon him.  He came for our good, seals us with His Holy Ghost, as the grandness of His finished work bestows upon us miraculous gifts. The gifts: neither more or less, yet ample enough to supply our wants, and put in check a fallen nature.  Jesus Christ is that great balance to evil, He bringing a message of peace, where there was once no peace; the Mediator of souls, when there was once no mediator; and is that just Judge when only the unjust judges ruled.

He is the Light of the world, He who gives life freely. He recruits His disciples from the masses of human flesh, drawing them away to become new creatures in Him; each a living record of His mighty deeds. His beloved servants have walked, ridden on the backs of mules, camels and horse’s, sailed the great seas, driven over land, and flown across the vast oceans of the sky to bring His message of peace and love.

A Light of hope came from heaven, to search out the hearts of mortal men.  Our obedience to the Word matters, for the Son of God, our Lord and Savior is the master of it.
