Israel is God’s concern. The Arab lands of the Middle East are 614 times larger the Israel itself. To get a better idea of its size, America is 1/2 as large as all the Arab lands. Israel is one Atomic bomb away from being vaporized.
Has the world turned its back on this small nation? Our politicians are beginning to lose interest in them. Why? Satan hates Jerusalem, and the Jewish people; the physical descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. “The woman brought forth a child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron.” When Christian’s begin to slide, and the people of the world take power, so also does the support for Israel decline.
Zechariah 12:2-3, “Behold, I (God) will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling (as a drunken man would reel) unto all the people (Gentiles) round about, when they (the Jews) shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people (Gentiles) all that burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it (Israel) shall be cut in pieces, through all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.” Yet the Lord said, Deut.32:10, He instructed them (Israel,) He (God) kept him as the apple of his eye.”
The eventual deliverance of Israel is not a deliverance of individuals, though a remnant will be saved, but a national liberation from the evils of the Gentiles. Until, “The time of the Gentiles is fulfilled.” And when will that be? At the end of the tribulation, Jerusalem, and the people of Israel, meaning the Jews will at free of Satan, his demons, those who follow after him, and God’s curse on them.
Jeremiah 30:8, “I (God) will break His (Gentiles) yoke from off thy (Jacob’s) neck, and will burst thy bonds, and stranger (Gentiles) shall no more serve themselves of him.” Israel will no longer be a slave to the Gentile world. First it was the Egyptians, they fell; then the Babylon, the Medes, Pensions, Greeks, Romans, French, Spanish, Germans, English, and now the Muslims.
After Rome fell, about 410 A.D. and the Roman Catholic Church lost its power, to the German conquerors. The world soon fell into what we call the “Dark ages.” In the days before the crusades, millions died of the plague, small-pox, and measles. God’s wrath was on the whole earth. After World War 1, in 1917, and because of the war, the Biltmore resolution was written up, but never implemented. The implantation of the Biltmore resolution in 1942 jump-started the return of the Jews to their land, just as God had promised them. After the war, in 1948, in one day, they became a sovereign nation. When the plan was implemented, great changes had occurred. The English gave the Arabs a large portion of the Promised Land, then barred the Jews from returning to them. England dropped the ball in this they betrayed God, and the Christian faith. And God took their crown and gave it to America. It was the people of America that would bring the gospel to the world.
But now, even America is beginning to turn its back on the only Middle Eastern friend we have. Will Israel and Jerusalem become a burdensome stone to America? Time will tell. Is the greatest of all holocausts still ahead for the Jewish people? Is the 70th week of Daniel’s near? Who will stand for Israel, and its people? Who will save them from the wrath of the Gentile nations?
Jeremiah 12:8, “In that day shall the LORD defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as God, as the angel of the LORD before them. — In that day I (God) will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.
