Compare The KJB With The NIV

Comparing K.J.B. with N.I.V.

Following is one of many areas under attack by Satan. Not sure of the last count, but some 200 different Bibles are being published.  Many are pretty bad, others not so much. When the many part of corruption are put together, there seems to be a few pieces still missing from the whole. The results can be catastrophic, salvation lost. The real Christ, and His truth are being removed, and replaced by the many types of anti-christs’ and their corruptions.

Many verses have been changed or left out entirely from today’s modern Bibles, such as the N.I.V. — N.A.S.V . — N.W.T. — C.E.V. — T.N.I.V. — the Jerusalem Bible, the Living Bible, and many others.

I believe that the many inaccurate translations, are intentional. The end product severely dilutes, and confuses doctrines concerning who Jesus is, and what He represents. We are in a spiritual war. What we see is the visible, not the invisible. Both Daniel, and Paul had a taste of Spiritual warfare, and its power.

Let’s thumb through a few Bibles and compare a few major doctrinal verses. The King James (K.J.V.) the New International Version (N.I.V.) and the New World Translation (N.W.T.)  also most every modern Bible published today will agree for the most part with the N.I.V.

I am not expressing my opinion, only relating the information I have found. Each individual can make up there own mind if what follows is any reason to be concerned.

1.  K.J.V.  1 John 5:7, “For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.”

Now lets examine the N.I.V.

Opps! can’t find it, only the # 7! Gee I wonder why they left out such a very important verse? Maybe its something the King James scholars made up to fill the space????

2.  K.J.V.  Colossians 1:14, Is speaking of Jesus, “In whom we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins.”  This is an extremely important doctrinal statement don’t you think?

2. Lets examine the N.I.V.

Opps! again one of the most important teachings of the N.T. for whatever reason has been removed, but they were nice enough to leave the # 14.

3.  K.J.V.  Acts 8:37, Philip came to a eunuch, who had great authority. The eunuch was reading the book Of Isaiah, but could not understand it.  Philip then began to explained what was written.

Acts 8:36, Both men see water, and the eunuch asked,  “See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?  Ver.37, The K.J.V. gives us the answer to the Eunuches question.

Verse 37, “Philip said, if thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he (the eunuch) answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.”

So what does they  N.I.V. and others say?

Philip’s reply has been removed! Why is this important?  Phillips answer, and the Eunuch’s response complete the thoughts and heart of both men concerning salvation.

Following are three important doctrinal verses in the K.J.V. not found in the N.I.V. CSV., and others.

1. King James reads  Matthew 18:11, Jesus said, “For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost.”

N.I.V. has removed this verse concerning Jesus Christ coming.

2. K.J.V. reads in Luke 9:56, “For the Son of man is not come to destroy men’s lives, but to save them.”

Again, gone: gee these coincidences is coming pretty regular, don’t you think?

3. K.J.V. reads in Acts 3:17, Jesus said, “But that the world through Him might be saved.”

As my old uncle would say, “Darn! I thought someone said these other versions were superior to the K.J.V. Don’t look that way to me when I examine them closely.”

Why were these verses removed? These are major doctrinal statements that need to be recorded, and read by all Christians. Could it be the text that these other Bibles use were tainted?

Being in close proximity to the N.I.V. version, is the Jehovah Witness Bible, or New World Translation (N.W.T.) The Witnesses have also have removed these three verses. Now that I understand in the light of their teachings.
Lets begin with the above, we can examine more later. So what are your concerns, or criticisms of my information? Remember, I am not passing judgment, I am only passing out information that some may never have seen. You judge for yourselves.

Part 2.

Following are seven more examples of the extremes we find between the K.J.V. and other Bibles.

K.J.V. published 1611. N.I.V. published, 1973. New World Translation, 1961. Revised Standard Version, R.S.V. N.T. copyright 1946. O.T. section copyright, 1952. We can see that most all modern Bibles are very recent, yet all claim to be superior. Why?

1.  Certain Bibles leaves out an O.T. prophesy from Isa.53:12.  A verse that is quoted in,
K.J.V. Mark 15:28.  “And the scripture was fulfilled, which saith, And he was numbered with the transgressors.”

Gone from the N.I.V. and others.

2.  A portion of the verses in Isaiah 66:24, has been left out. This verse is quoted twice in,

Mark 9:44 and 46.  Jesus said, “Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.”  These verses give support, and witness to the truth of Scriptures.

K.J.V. reads, Isa.66:24, “For the worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched.”

Retired from the N.I.V. and others!

3.  K.J.V. John 5:3, “In these lay a great multitude of impotent (sick) folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water.”

The N.I.V. and others leave out, “waiting for the moving of the water.”

Why is this important? The people believed that an angel came and stirred it, and the first in the water would be healed.

4. John 5:4,  “For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled (stirred up) the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had.”

Removed even the #4. N.I.V. jumps from 3 to 5.

John 5:5, goes on to tell about the man who had no one to help him,  Jesus intervenes, healing the man.

5.  K.J.V. Matthew 17:21, The disciples could not cure a lunatic, that had been demon possesses. The disciples came to Jesus asking Him why.  Jesus then explains to them the reason.

Matthew 17:21. It is Jesus response concerning the demons,  Verse 21, “This kind (demon) goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.”

In the N.I.V. the cure, “prayer and fasting,” are left out.

The N.I.V.  and others leave out Concerning the “Only Begotten Son.” Jesus alone is referred to as the “Only Begotten Son” of God. The Father has many sons.  Demons, Satan, and men are sometimes referred to as, sons of God, but only Jesus is referred to as the “Only Begotten Son.” I have repeated this, because it is extremely important that we all understand it.

The Greek word for begotten is, “momogenes.”  In the writings of John, when he refers to Jesus as the “Only Begotten,” it is only in the highest sense, meaning Jesus and only Jesus came from the Father and He alone knows and can reveal to us, the essence and will of the Father.

Jesus as the Messiah, who as the viceregent = (one who rules) of the Father, is figuratively called His Only Begotten Son.

6.  K.J.V. John 1:14,  “And the Word = (Jesus) was made flesh = (became flesh,) and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” Compare with,

N.I.V. and others,  John 1:14, “We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only.” My question. If I was reading the N.I.V. only, I would ask, “One and only what?”

7.  K.J.V. John 1:18, “No man hath seen God = (the Father) at any time; the only begotten Son, = (Jesus) which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.” Compare with,

N.I.V. John 1:18, “No one has ever seen God, but God the One and Only, who is at the Father’s side, has made Him known.”

Is there a difference between being in the bosom of the Father as the K.J.V. states, compared to being at the Father’s side?  Being along side is obvious as to its meaning. In the bosom, the Greek meaning is to be in the Father’s embrace, to be cherished by Him as the object of intimate care and dearest affection. I would say the difference is great.  To be along side does not do justice to the love the Father has for His Son.

These changes in the newer Bibles are huge. All important, and necessary. With these newer Bibles, we only have part of the story, and not the whole story.

Part 3.

Differences between K.J.V. and modern Bibles. Let’s call it delusion, and corruption.

1.  K.J.V.  John 3:16, Jesus said, “For God = (the Father) so loved the world, that he gave his only Begotten Son = (Jesus).”  Compare with,

N.I.V. and others, John 3:16, Jesus said, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son. Note in the N.I.V. the lower case “one and only,” is used when Jesus spoke of Himself.  This is like saying that my Father sent me, His one and single son. Also compare,

N.I.V. “one and only” in John 3:16, with N.I.V. John 1:18, “One and Only in John 3:16, appears to be a conflict “One and Only,” in John 1:18, in the upper and lower cases.

Compare “one and only,” to the One whom the Father has designated to reveal himself in the K.J.V. as in His “only Begotten Son.”

This idea of Jesus being the only Begotten refers to His title, office and work. The work is to reveal the Father and His will. Jesus alone has been sealed to accomplish this. He alone has been sent to complete this work, this is implied in the title, “the Only Begotten Son.”

2.  K.J.V.  1 John 4:9, “God = (the Father) sent his only begotten Son = (Jesus) into the world, that we might live through Him.”

Compare with changes in N.I.V.

N.I.V. and others,  1 John 4:9, “This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son.”  Again one and only are in lower case, no deity implied.  No consistency So why has this very important office of our Lord been changed?

Because the manuscripts that the writers and editors of modern day Bibles have decided to follow are corrupted ancient versions.  The authors of these manuscripts are unknown, the place where these manuscripts originated are also in question.

Their goal?  to slowly overthrow the glory that belongs to Jesus Christ alone.  It is a process of dilution and erosion concerning Jesus Christ.  Satan with his workers of iniquity hid for centuries these fourth century manuscripts.  But in these end time has brought them into view, and they have been given over to liberal scholars for interpretation.  This to cause confusion and doubt among the brethren.  Satan is running short of time.

Question;  Are there any cults or sects that leave out or distort the very same verses the N.I.V. and other Bibles do concerning Jesus Christ?

The New World Translation = (N.W.T) of the Jehovah Witnesses, is allied with many modern Bibles.  The Jehovah Witnesses teach that Jesus was created, no different then every other son of God.  They claim that Jesus is of the same nature as Satan man, and angel.

In Job 1, we read,

K.J.V.  “Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.”  Created beings are referred to as, sons of God. Men are also called sons of God.

1 John 3:1, 2  John writes,  “We = (Christian’s) should be called the sons of God.” — “Now are we the sons of God.”
Note lower case, “son.”  So men and Satan are referred to as sons of God.  These corrupted versions have removed Jesus’ title as the, “Only Begotten Son,” this placing Him on the same level as men, Satan and angels.

We read in the Jehovah Witness N.W.T.,

John 1:14,  “We had a view of his = (Jesus) glory, a glory such as belongs to an only-begotten son from a father.”
Note indefinite article, “a.” and Lower case “f” in father.  “a father,” they meaning Joseph.  They do not refer to Jesus as coming from “THE” Father in heaven, but is like a son who comes from a human father. They teach that Jesus is like any other earthly son, who has an earthly father.

N.W.T.  John 1:18,  “No man has seen God = (the Father) at any time; the only-begotten god = (Jesus) who is in the bosom with the Father is the one = (Jesus) that has explained him = (the Father). “

Jesus is referred to as, “a god,” and, “the one.” Both in lower case.  The Greek definite article makes all the difference.  Again, they refer to Jesus as a creature, a created being.

Compare what is said of Satan in,

2 Corinthians 4:4,  “In whom the god = (Satan) of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not.”

Again in John 1:1, the Witnesses refer to Jesus as “a god,” and not “the God.” When the indefinite article “a” is used, it refers to one of many.  The definite articles “This, that, the,” refer to the one of a kind, the,  “Only Begotton Son.”

See Grandville Sharpe on the use of the Greek definite article.

John 3:16,  gives us a good look into the hypocrisy that permeates corrupt churches.  Remember the Witnesses call Jesus a son, and a god, yet in the well known verse of John 3:16, the N.W.T. reads,  “For God loved the world so much that he gave his only-begotten Son.”

Here they acknowledge Jesus as the only begotten, and the only Son, not just a son, but the only-begotten Son.

Their inconsistencies and lies are revealed by the truth.  Even from their own Bible, do we find error and corruption.

The Jehovah Witnesses believe and teach that Jesus Christ has been created, inferior in every way to the Father.   He being created makes Him a creature and not God.  Therefore, they feel justified in calling him “a god” and “a son.”

To call Jesus anything but who and what He is, is blasphemy. The Bible has become the Love Canal, a dumping ground for every cult, every first year college student of the Greek and Hebrew language.  Antichrists that are schooled and nurtured by Satan to pervert and distort God’s holy word.  To change or challenge the word of God will be a death sentence.   These will die the second death.

The Holy Spirit is the ultimate teacher, yet many have tingling ears: preachers sounding like brass bands, and modern Bibles no longer represent God’s Word.  The word of God has become a personal commentary for many.
