Bibles, Bibles, And More Bibles, But Where Is Christ?

Following is one of many areas the workers of Satan have infringed upon. When every part of their corruption is added together and fed to the people, the results can be catastrophic.

We are in a spiritual war. What we see is the visible, not the invisible. Daniel had a taste of Spiritual warfare. Daniel prayed, finally a voice told Daniel,

Daniel 10:11-12-13, “O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak unto thee. — Then said he unto me (Daniel,) fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I came for thy words.

Verse 13, “But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me: and I remained there with the kings of Persia.”

This is spiritual warfare, unseen and unheard by us, yet impacting each and every one of us daily.
This article is to support the thought and concerns we all have about the Christ of the Bible. Anti-christ’s abound, they roam to and fro in this world desiring to devour the righteous.

The Jewish people are the caretakers of the word of God.

Isaiah 28:13, “But, the word of the LORD was unto them (the Jews’) precept upon precept, line upon line, here a little, and there a little.”

Precept, meaning commandment:  Line meaning the measuring line of a plummet, or a straight line. As true as a cornerstone stands perpendicular and exactly proportioned, so also God, who while holding out grace to believers will also hand out judgment to the scoffers according to the exact justice of the law.

Isaiah 28:17, “Judgement also will I lay to the line and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail = (to pour down as hail) shall sweep away the refuge of lies.”

Revelation 16:21, “And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven — and men blasphemed God.”

The judgments on those who add or subtract to God’s word, are written in,

Revelation 22:18-19, “If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.”

The Jews and The Written Word

Romans 3:1-2, “unto them = (the Jew) were committed the oracles of God.”

The Greek word “oracles” means: words spoken, utterances.

The Jews were commanded by God to protect His Holy word.

The Masorites were Jews who have protected every mark, every letter, every word of the O.T. The Masorites were a sect of Jews. There text is used in the preparation of the English translation of the K.J.V. of the Old Testament. “Unto them = (the Jews) were committed the oracles of God.”

The Masoretic text of the K.J.V. is the only text that remains steadfast to God’s word.

Through the centuries, thousands of hours of coping and proof-reading were done to assure that all copies were exact to the smallest dot. If mistakes were found, the entire text would be destroyed. The Jews truly believed the Scriptures to be God’s Holy word and treated them as such.

John 5:39, “Search the Scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life; and they are they which testify of me.”

Revelation 3:18, Jesus said, “I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich.” The written word, is compared to pure gold, proven and tried by God.

Revelation 1:20, Jesus said, “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup = (dine) with him, and he with me.”

Jesus is the door. He bids us to knock, that it may be opened unto us. The Holy Spirit now intervenes, He then seals, guides, teaches, and comforts those who profess Jesus Christ as Lord, those who repent and are baptized in the Holy Spirit. This is God’s message to an unsaved world.

1 Thes.2:18, we read, “but Satan hindered us,” and he can also hinder us. The word hindered means, to cut in, to impede, to delay, render fruitless.

1 Peter 5:8, We are told to “be sober, be vigilant.” The Greek word “sober” is to be watchful, circumspect. To be vigilant is to watch, be attentive, careful.

2 Corinthians 4:4, “In whom the god of this world (Satan) hath blinded the minds of them which believe not.” “Blinded,” meaning spiritually blind.

What if I handed you a Bible that had some texts removed, or text added, or words changed, would you accept it? If not, why not?

Many verses have been changed or left out entirely from today’s modern Bibles, such as the N.I.V. — N.A.S.V . — N.W.T. — C.E.V. — T.N.I.V. — the Jerusalem Bible, the Living Bible, and many others.

These inaccurate translations, are not founded on the accurate Masorotic Text. The end product severely dilutes and confuses doctrines concerning who and what Jesus represents.

Compare the following verses taken from the K.J.V. the N.I.V. and others.

K.J.V. 1 John 5:7, “For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.” This removed from N.I.V, etc.

K.J.V. Colossians 1:14, Is speaking of Jesus, “In whom we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins.” This verse is not found in the N.I.V. and others.

K.J.V. Acts 8:37, Philip came to a eunuch, who had great authority. The eunuch was reading the book Of Isaiah, but could not understand it. Philip then began to explained what was written.

Acts 8:36, Both men see water, and the eunuch asked, “See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized? Verse 37, of the K.J.V. gives us the answer to the Eunuches question.

“Philip said, if thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he (the eunuch) answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.”

In the N.I.V. and others, Acts 8:37 has been removed. Why is this important? Philip’s answer, and the Eunuch’s response complete the thoughts and heart of both men concerning salvation.

K.J.V. Matt.18:11, Jesus said, “For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost.” The precept and line for this verse is found in,

Luke 9:56, K.J.V., “For the Son of man is not come to destroy men’s lives, but to save them.”

K.J.V., Acts 3:17, Jesus said, “but that the world through Him might be saved.”

In the N.I.V. and others, these three very important verses have been removed. These are major doctrinal statements that need to be recorded in Scripture.

Allied to the N.I.V. version is the Jehovah Witness Bible, or New World Translation. They have also removed these three verses.

Some Bibles leaves out an O.T. prophesy from Isaiah 53:12, that’s quoted in,

Mark 15:28. “And the scripture was fulfilled, which saith, And he was numbered with the
transgressors.”

The N.I.V. and others have removed this verse.

This portion of the verses in Isaiah 66:24, has been left out. This verse is quoted twice in Mark 9:44 and 46. Jesus said, “Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.” These verses give support, and witness to the truth of Scriptures.

K.J.V. reads, Isaiah 66:24, “for the worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched.” This has been removed in N.I.V. and others.

In John 5:3, we read the sick, blind and lame waiting for the water in a pool in Bethesda in Jerusalem to be stirred.

Certain Bibles leaves out verse 4, “For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled (stirred up) the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had.”

Verse 5, goes on to tell about a man who had no one to help him, Jesus intervenes, healing the man.

Matt.17, the disciples could not cure a lunatic that had been demon possesses. The disciples came to Jesus asking Him why. Jesus then explains to them the reason. Some modern Bibles leave out Jesus response concerning the demon, Verse 21, “This kind (demon) goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.”

Concerning the “Only Begotten Son.”

Jesus alone is referred to as the “Only Begotten Son” of God. The Father has many sons. Demons, Satan, and men are sometimes referred to as, sons of God, but only Jesus is referred to as the “Only Begotten Son.” I have repeated this, because it is extremely important that we all understand it.

The Greek word for begotten is, “momogenes.” In the writings of John, when he refers to Jesus as the “Only Begotten,” it is only in the highest sense, meaning Jesus and only Jesus came from the Father and He alone knows and can reveal to us, the essence and will of the Father.

Jesus as the Messiah, who as the viceregent = (one who rules) of the Father, is figuratively called His Only Begotten Son.

K.J.V. John 1:14, “And the Word = (Jesus) was made flesh = (became flesh,) and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” Compare,

N.I.V. and others, John 1:14, “We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only.”

K.J.V. John 1:18, “No man hath seen God = (the Father) at any time; the only begotten Son, = (Jesus) which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.” Compare,

N.I.V. John 1:18, “No one has ever seen God, but God the One and Only, who is at the Father’s side, has made Him known.”

What’s the difference between being in the bosom of the Father as the K.J.V. states, compared to being at the Father’s side? Being along side is obvious as to its meaning. In the bosom, the Greek means to be in the Father’s embrace, to be cherished by Him as the object of intimate care and dearest affection. I would say the difference is great.

K.J.V. John 3:16, Jesus said, “For God = (the Father) so loved the world, that he gave his only Begotten Son = (Jesus).” Compare,

N.I.V. and others, John 3:16, Jesus said, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son.

Note in the N.I.V. the lower case is used in which Jesus spoke of Himself. “one and only” used in the lower case is like saying that my Father sent me, His one and single Son. Also compare N.I.V. “one and only” in John 3:16, with N.I.V. John 1:18, “One and Only, appears to be a conflict in the upper and lower cases.

Compare this to the One who the Father has designated to represent himself fully, as in “only Begotten.”

This idea of Jesus being the only Begotten refers to His title, office and work. The work is to reveal the Father and His will. Jesus alone has been sealed to accomplish this. He alone has been sent to complete this work, this is implied in the title, “the Only Begotten Son.”

K.J.V. 1 John 4:9, “God = (the Father) sent his only begotten Son = (Jesus) into the world, that we might live through Him.” Compare,

N.I.V. and others, 1 John 4:9, “This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son,” again one and only are in lower case, no deity implied.

So why has this very important office of our Lord been changed? The reason,

Because the manuscripts that the writers and editors of modern day Bibles have decided to follow corrupt ancient versions. The authors of these manuscripts are unknown, the place where these manuscripts originated are also in question.

Their goal, to slowly overthrow the glory that belongs to Jesus Christ alone. It is a process of dilution and erosion concerning the only Begotten Son of God. Satan and his workers of iniquity hid for centuries these fourth century manuscripts. But in these end time having been brought into view and given over to liberal scholars for interpretation, this to create confusion and doubt among the brethren.

This confusion in the Gospel message is dividing and throwing into turmoil the community of Christian brothers and sisters.

Question; Are there any cults or sects that leave out or distort the very same verses the N.I.V. and other Bibles do concerning Jesus Christ, this in order to focus on false teachings and lead many to false Christ’s? They claim there is another way to the Father in heaven?

The New World Translation = (N.W.T) of the Jehovah Witnesses, is a good example of some of the allies of the N.I.V. and other Bibles. The Witnesses teach that Jesus is a created being, no different then all other sons of God. He is of the same sort as Satan and man, a created angel.

For example in Job 1, we read,

K.J.V. “Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.” Created spirit creatures are here referred to as, sons of God.

Men are called sons of God.

1 John 3:1, 2 John writes, “We = (in the church) should be called the sons of God.” — “Now are we = (the church) the sons of God.”

Note lower case, “son.” So men and Satan are referred to as sons of God. Now these corrupted versions not only remove Jesus’ title as Only Begotten, but, now put Him on the same level as men and Satan, a son of God.

We read in Jehovah Witness N.W.T.,

John 1:14, “We had a view of his = (Jesus) glory, a glory such as belongs to an only-begotten son from a father.”

Note son and father are in lower case. “a father,” implying Joseph. They do not refer to Jesus as coming from “THE” Father in heaven, but is like a son who comes from a human father.

They teach that Jesus is like any other earthly son, who has an earthly father. In this verse, the father that they are referring to is not the Father in heaven.

N.W.T. John 1:18, “No man has seen God = (the Father) at any time; the only-begotten god = (Jesus) who is in the bosom with the Father is the one = (Jesus) that has explained him = (the Father). ”

Jesus is referred to as, “a god,” and not THE God. The Greek definite article makes all the difference. Again, they have put him on the same level as Satan and men.

Compare to what is said about Satan. 2 Corinthians 4:4, “In whom the (god) = (Satan) of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not.” Men are also referred to as gods. Therefore, they compare Jesus to Satan and men, both as being a god.

Again in John 1:1, the Witnesses refer to Jesus as “a god,” and not “the God.” When the indefinite article “a” is used, it refers to one of many. The definite articles “This, that, the,” refer to the one of a kind.

Example: Give me one apple or any apple from that basket of apples. Here is how the indefinite article is used. The apple is one of many.

Compare this to a definite article. Give me that large, rosy apple from the basket. That is, the one and only apple that is large and rosy, it being superior to the other apples in the basket. See Grandville Sharpe on the definite article.

John 3:16. This verse gives us a good look into the hypocrisy that permeates corrupt Church’s. Remember the Witnesses call Jesus a son, and a god, yet in the well known verse of John 3:16, they write, “For God loved the world so much that he gave his only-begotten Son.”

Here they do acknowledge Jesus as the only begotten, and the only Son, not just a son, but the only-begotten Son. Their inconsistencies and lies are revealed by the truth, and even from their own Bible do we find error and corruption!

The reason the Jehovah Witnesses teach this, is because they believe and teach that Jesus Christ has been created, and is inferior to the Father, making Him a creature like Satan and man. Therefore, they feel justified in calling him “a god” and “a son.”

To call Jesus anything but who and what He is, is blasphemy. The Bible has become the Love Canal, a dumping ground for every cult, every first year college student of either Greek or Hebrew. Every anti-christ that is schooled and nurtured by Satan attempts to pervert and distort God’s holy word. To change or challenge is to die the second death.

The Holy Spirit is the ultimate teacher, yet people have tingling ears: preachers sound like brass bands, and modern Bibles no longer represent God’s Word. The word of God has become a personal commentary for many.

Evil corrupts good men, more so than good men change evil. Beware, lest you are led away by false teaches. Under the garments of false teachers, are the hungry wolves, waiting to devour the flock.

Yes, Jesus is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow Therefore His word never changes!
