Why pre tribulation rapture is correct: Edited 4/15/20.
Part 7:
Let’s examine Isaiah 65:8-9-11-12. These verses concern the disposition of the Jews who have not received Jesus Christ. Jews who are left behind in a time we refer to as the tribulation, a period of 7 years.
Isaiah 65:8-9, “Thus said the LORD, As the new wine is found in the cluster, and one said, Destroy it not; for a blessing is in it: so will I do for my servants’ sakes, that I may not destroy them all.”
Judgment has been pronounced upon the nation of Israel, but not for all. A few ungleaned grapes (Jews) have been left on the vine. This remaining seed will be represented by the 144,000 who are sealed by God before the tribulation begins; these representing the whole house of Israel, 12 tribes. They are the van-guard of those who will gain possession of the land God had promised Abraham, and to his seed.
Verse 9, “And I will bring forth a seed out of Jacob and out of Judah an inheritor of my mountains: and mine elect shall inherit it, and my servants shall dwell there.” Compare with,
Revelation 7:3, “Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, not the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.
Deuteronomy 24:21, “When thou gatherest the grapes of thy vineyard, thou shalt not glean it afterward.”
Acts 1:20, “For it is written in the book of Psalms, Let his (Israelis) habitation be desolate, and let no man dwell therein: and his bishoprick (office of overseer) let another take.” Compare with,
Matthew 23:38, Luke 13:35, Jesus said, “Your house is left to you desolate,” Desolate, not meaning uninhabited by people, but abandoned by God.
Psalms 69:25, “Let their habitation be desolate, and let none dwell in their tents.”
This ungleaned fruit may also include the following Jews.
Revelation 11:13, “The same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand, and the REMNANT were affrighted (terrified,) and gave glory to the God of heaven,” this occurs 3 1/2 years into the tribulation.
Romans 9:27, “Esaias also crieth concerning Israel, Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, a REMNANT shall be saved.”
Revelation 12:17, “The dragon was wroth with the woman (Israel,) and went to make war with the REMNANT of her seed.”
This remnant of those who gave glory to God after the 2 witnesses had been taken into heaven, will flee into the wilderness. The unbelieving Jews who remain in darkness are destined for slaughter.
In conclusion; a few grapes were commanded by God to be left when a vineyard is harvested, so also will a remnant be left to inherit the promises of God after the 7 years of tribulation have concluded.
Let’s move on to,
Isaiah 65:11, “But ye (remaining Jews) are they that forsake the LORD, that forget my holy mountain, that prepare a table for that troop, and that furnish the drink offering unto that number.”
Let’s break that verse down into two parts; for those who have forsaken the LORD, the following awaits them,
Isaiah 65:12, “Therefore will I number you to the sword, and ye shall all bow down to the slaughter: because when I called, ye did not answer, when I spake, ye did not hear.”
When the Word of God was manifest in the flesh to seek and to save His people, the lost sheep were deaf to the voice of their Shepherd.
The second part of verse 11, follows those unsaved Jews were said to,
“Prepare a table for that TROOP, and that furnish the drink offering unto that NUMBER.”
What is, or who are the “Troop, and Number,” referring to?
Fortune and Destiny were the names of two gods Israel worshiped in her attempt to know the future.
Troop, is used in Isaiah 65, instead of, Gad, this was the Babylonian “god of fortune,” the planet Jupiter, answering to Baal or Bel; as the Arabs called it, “The greater good fortune.”
Number: The planet Venus answering to “Meni.” or number. Meni is refered to as “The lesser good fortune.” Meni, or Ashtaroth or Astarte, as goddess of fortune was thought to number the fates of men.
The president of Iran Mahmoud Ahmadinejad uses a phrase similar to this, “The greater good fortune,” when speaking of killing millions so he can bring in their false messiah.
“The drink offering,” to Meni, In the Hebrew would be a mixed drink as in,
Proverbs 23:30, “They that tarry (linger) long at the wine; they that go to seek mixed wine.”
Jeremiah 7:18, “The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven (Ashtaroth or Astarte,) and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger.” See also Jeremiah 44:17-18.
The root word of drink means a part of the whole.
In contrast, God’s cup, Revelation 14:10, is, “Without mixture.”
In Revelation 17:4, we read of the whore of Babylon, the mother of harlots, “Having a golden cup in her hand full of the abominations and filthiness of her fornication.”
Isaiah 65:12, “Therefore will I number you to the sword, and ye shall all bow down to the slaughter: because when I called, ye did not answer; when I spake ye did not hear; but did evil before mine eyes,
“Number with the sword,” or “doom you”; allude to the “number, as Meni, means retribution in kind, the punishment answering to the sin, See
2 Chronicles 36:14-17, “The chief of the priests, and the people transgressed very much after all the abominations of the heathen; and polluted the house of the LORD which He had hollowed in Jerusalem.” God then sends the priests and the people messengers.
Verse 16, “But they mocked the messengers of God, and despised his words, and misused his prophets, until the wrath of the LORD arose against his people, till there was no remedy.
God then brought upon Israel the enemies who slew their young men with the sword, — had no compassion upon the maiden, old man, or him that stooped for age: he gave them all into his hand.”
Food and drink were set before those idols in order to please them. As Isaiah wrote, to, “Prepare a table for the number,” meaning to prepare an offering to the god of the greater good fortune, the gods called Meni, or Astari, and Baal.
Jezebel was a worshipper of Baal, she had imposed the worship of Baal upon the people of Israel.
Revelation 2:20, The Lord is speaking to the church Thyatira, “I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.
Verse 21, “And I gave her (Thyatira) space (time) to repent of her fornication and she repented not.
Verse 22, “Behold, I will cast her into a bed and them that commit adultery with her (Jezebel) into great tribulation.”
Revelation 13:18, “Here is wisdom, let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man: and his number is Six hundred and threescore and six.”
