Constructive Thinking
Constructive thinking is not an easy task for many people. It can be hindered by the many means of communication that flood our society. There are so many articles published in these mediums of communication, each presenting many different points of view. In this it becomes difficult for the reader to form a personal, definite and conclusive opinion on their own.

Often what seems right may NOT be right and many times a matters that appear to be wrong, turns out to be right. Correct opinion can be formed if and when the facts are given without having confusing theories and ideas injected into them.

We now live in a very interesting period of world development. We have political and religious diversity, as never before. We have a serious business decline, but even that is interesting when considered from the viewpoint that it is a direct result of the law of cause and effect, supply and demand.

No group of people or nations is free from the present economic, political, and religious turmoil that plagues us. Each nation, with its' leaders is responsible for its' own troubles and/or blessings. Leaders of nations are responsible for the calamities that effect the whole such as food, jobs, health programs, military, etc.

When the events of 9/11, are filed away in history books, with the many events that preceded it, and followed it, each nation's story for 2001 will have been completed. The efforts that emerge from this tragedy, as related to all nations, peoples, languages, and religions, will make interesting reading.

Many wonderful and marvelous things in science research, invention, medicine, etc have happened in the past 100 years. Progress happens because it is impossible for men to deny the urge to progress as he sees fit. Mankind must always grow. But, in what direction must he grow? Hopefully it will NOT BE further away from Christian morals and values.

It is only natural that people should be concerned with personal problems. It is regrettable that so many worry because of debt, unemployment, sickness, addictions, etc. These conditions are not conducive to constructive thinking. Most people will follow the line of least resistance. We think according to our surroundings, because it is easy to become a creature of our environment.

With the help of God, and His word, you can, however, surmount these conditions. If you cannot find a suitable job, get out of debt, overcome an illness, etc., think! "What can I do?"

The answer is to draw closer to the Lord. Find out through the Scriptures what God commands and expects us to do in order to overcome trouble. When you begin to change your old ways for new ways, this by submerging yourself in God's wisdom, and gaining Divine insight to yourself, then and only then, will you begin to discover God's world and what He has in store for you.

Thank you,
