I would like to make my statement of faith, so as not to leave any questions as to my position. Faith in Jesus Christ, loyalty to the Scripture, and the perseveration of His Holy Word. This is the goal. Following are the fundamental principles in which I base my belief. 1. I believe that the Holy Scriptures, consist of 66 Books, Genesis to Revelation, alone are divinely inspired. 2. I believe that the Saviour- Jesus Christ, alone is perfect and holy in character. 3. I believe that the virgin birth, the death, burial and physical resurrection of Jesus Christ are all true. 4. I believe that men, having no righteousness in or of themselves, can only obtain Salvation by the righteousness and shed blood of Jesus Christ. 5. I believe that the resurrection of the living and the dead will indeed occur. 6. I believe in the final judgement, which concludes in, A. The eternal happiness of the righteous B. The everlasting punishment of the wicked. 7. I believe that obedience and commitment to the sovereignty of Jesus Christ our Lord is essential to saving faith. 8. I believe in water baptism, being sealed by the Holy Spirit, repentance, and the partaking of the Lord's supper. Those who believe, receive and observe God's commandments, are considered as resting on the Rock of Salvation, that being Jesus Christ.
